Job title: Accounting LeaderLocation: Simi Valley, CA Bonus: 12.5% Role SummaryLeads the Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) functions for a business unit/site. Responsible for accurate financial reporting, compliance (GAAP), process improvement, and team management.Key ResponsibilitiesManage AR & AP operations, ensuring accuracy and complianceOversee accounting transactions, reporting, and financial analysisMaintain internal controls, systems, and proceduresLead month-end/year-end closings, forecasts, and budgeting supportAnalyze financial data, identify issues, and implement improvementsSupervise, train, and develop accounting staffEnsure alignment with corporate accounting policies and objectivesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field5+ years AR/AP experience (mandatory)3+ years in manufacturing (mandatory)Experience in aerospace industry (preferred/required as per note)People management experienceSkillsStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and analysisExperience in manufacturing accounting processesLeadership and team development skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilityStrong communication and MS Office proficiency
