Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented *Senior Documentation Specialist* to support a busy team in Sturgis, MI. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with documents, organizing files, reviewing paperwork for accuracy, and maintaining electronic records.
What You'll Do
* Review and process a high volume of documents and paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
* Organize files and paperwork using established filing and document-management procedures.
* Upload documents into a *digital document repository* and ensure records are properly organized.
* Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
* Review documentation for missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
* Locate and retrieve files and documentation when requested.
* Prepare, edit, assemble, and maintain reports, records, correspondence, and other documentation.
* Maintain organized filing systems, including alphabetical, numerical, chronological, or subject-based files.
* Track documentation and maintain accurate records of completed work.
* Communicate with team members when documentation needs clarification or correction.
* Follow established procedures for document handling, organization, and recordkeeping.
What We're Looking For
* *3–5 years of experience* in documentation, records management, document control, administrative support, data/document processing, or a related area.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage a large volume of paperwork and electronic documents.
* Comfortable reviewing documents carefully and identifying discrepancies or missing information.
* Strong computer skills and experience working with electronic files and document-management systems.
* Experience uploading, organizing, or maintaining documents electronically is highly preferred.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
* Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
