We’re now looking for a Pediatric Dentist Associate who’s passionate about pediatric care and eager to grow—whether that means preparing to open your own practice or exploring future partnership opportunities with us. Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Excellence
Perform comprehensive pediatric dental exams and treatments
Supervise and guide RDAs in delivering patient care (X-rays, sealants, polishing, etc.)
Provide Level I & II sedation when appropriate
Maintain high clinical standards while meeting production goals
2. Patient Experience
Deliver empathetic, child-centered dental care
Communicate clearly with children and their parents
Aim for high patient satisfaction (target score: 90%+)
3. Collaboration & Culture
Work closely with the Office Manager and team to foster our positive, family-like culture
Participate in peer reviews, chart audits, and continuous improvement efforts
4. Safety & Compliance
Adhere to safety, quality, infection control, and documentation standards
Refer patients appropriately to specialists when needed
5. Medication & Sedation Management
Prescribe medications and manage sedation procedures in line with licensing and safety protocols
Ensure proper documentation of controlled substances
6. Community & Education
Support dental health education and outreach within the local community
Qualifications
Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited program
Specialization: Completed Pediatric Dentistry residency
Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Texas
Certifications:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Sedation Permit Level 2 (or higher)
Skills: Strong communication, compassionate demeanor, and a growth mindset
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Communication & Team Collaboration Requirements
A successful Pediatric Dentist in our practice must be a strong communicator and an effective team collaborator. This includes the ability to:
Parent Communication:
Listen attentively to parents' concerns and questions.
Communicate treatment plans and dental concepts using language that is simple, empathetic, and easy to understand.
Align patient care with office policies and standards while maintaining trust and transparency.
Team & Leadership Communication:
Maintain open and respectful communication with the Office Manager and Lead Dentist, especially when addressing clinical or operational concerns.
Notify the appropriate team members of any non-functioning equipment that may affect patient care or workflow in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the dental assistant team professionally and resolve issues through the Office Manager to support a healthy team dynamic.
Recordkeeping & Documentation:
Accurately document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations in compliance with clinical and legal standards.
Ensure notes are clear, detailed, and sufficient to provide context in any case of follow-up, referral, or unexpected situations.
