Your goal is to ensure every patient feels confident in their care, and every schedule stays on track.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Concierge/Front Office: Greet patients and maintain a welcoming waiting room environment. Verify patient insurance and ensure accurate patient information. Manage check-ins/outs, collect copays/deductibles/patient balances. Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, manage physician schedules, and handle follow-up reminders.Clinical/Back Office: Complete basic intake (weight, height, manual blood pressure, verifying medication's at every visit-by name and dosage, charting known allergies, obtain and document prior surgeries/exams.) prepare exam rooms, and ensure rooms are stocked and sanitized. Work with our Physicians daily, ensuring the flow of daily clinic runs smoothly. Medication/Therapeutic injections, Occasional phlebotomy.Records Management: Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR), experience with ECW is a plus. Complete referrals to Specialist's/insurance authorizations. Manage and route incoming faxes into patient chart's and proper provider/staff. Communication: Manage multi-line phone systems, triage patient calls, and facilitate clear communication between patients and medical staff. Returning patient phone calls with results/questions. Assist with medication refillsWhat You Bring to the TableExperience: 1–2 years of experience as a medical assistant.Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.Detail Oriented: A "eagle eye" for accuracy in data entry and medical documentation. xaygatp Certification: High school diploma required; Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program.
