Principal Python Engineer

If you’re excited about shaping how autonomous systems operate in production, this is where you’ll make a tangible impact.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using PythonLead technical design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisionsWrite clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices - also with assistance of LLMOptimize application performance, reliability, and scalabilityCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end‑to‑end solutionsMentor junior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidanceDrive improvements in code quality, tooling, CI/CD, and engineering processesParticipate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues when neededRequired Qualifications: 8-10 plus years of professional software engineering experience, with strong focus on PythonDeep understanding of Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or similarExperience building and consuming MCPs, RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL)Hands-on experience with cloud platforms - Azure experience preferredSolid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automationProficiency with Git and collaborative development workflowsStrong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with designing and building agentic platformsExperience with microservices architectureFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestrationExposure to event-driven systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practicesExperience working in high-scale, production environmentsPrior experience mentoring or leading engineersIf you or someone in your network is interested, please share your resume or connect directly.
