The teacher establishes positive rapport with students, motivates them to develop critical literacy skills, and fosters personal growth in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The teacher is committed to ensuring that students meet or exceed State and local standards and provides targeted, differentiated instruction based on students' abilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Listed below are the essential tasks performed to achieve the purpose of this job. plans that meet State standards and individual student needs.Use a variety of instructional strategies (e.g., direct instruction, collaborative learning, project-based learning) to address diverse student abilities in 7th-12th grade.Develop assessments aligned with curriculum goals and standards, and use results to guide instruction.Differentiate instruction to support all learners, including ELL, SPED, gifted, and diverse learners, ensuring inclusion of all students.D15%Student Engagement and Growth:Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and active participation.Guide students in developing their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through relevant, real-world applications.Regularly evaluate students' academic progress and provide timely, constructive feedback on written and oral assignments.Participate in professional learning communities, using a data driven instructional approach.D15%Curriculum and Assessment:Administer formative and summative assessments to measure student progress in reading comprehension, writing skills, and other language arts competencies.Adjust lesson plans and assigned.M5%TOTAL=100%EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:Required: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.Required: Valid Colorado teaching license with an endorsement in Secondary English Language Arts (Grades 7-12).TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:Strong understanding of the Colorado State Standards for English Language Arts.Proven ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of students.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.Ability to integrate technology into
