Job SummaryThe Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests in a fast-paced and high-end environment. This is a part-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. The Bartender will report directly to the Lead Bartender & Food and Beverage Manager and will work collaboratively with the entire food and beverage team to ensure exceptional service is provided to all guests.Compensation & BenefitsThe Foundry Hotel Asheville offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company for full time employees.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beveragesProvide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and making menu recommendationsEnsure all drinks are made to the highest standard of quality and presentationMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipmentMonitor and restock inventory to prevent shortages and wasteComply with all state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholHandle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficientlyWork collaboratively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guestsAdhere to all hotel and food and beverage policies and proceduresRequirementsMust be at least 21 years oldExtensive knowledge of cocktail making and mixologyStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectivelyFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsEEOC StatementThe Foundry Hotel Asheville is an equal opportunity employer.
