JOB SUMMARY:This position will assist fleet mechanics with truck and equipment repairs by performing necessary welding repairs in order to keep fleet in top condition.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipmentKeeps tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized and in good working conditionPerform welding repairs on trailer and MC-307, DOT-407, and DOT-412 tanksPerform fabrication dutiesAdditional duties as assignedEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMig and Stick welding experience requiredExperience in fabricationPrevious fleet shop experience preferredPost-secondary vocational education strongly preferredDriver’s license required, Class A CDL preferred
