Our commitment to quality, innovation, and affordable housing is at the core of everything we do.Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and business-minded Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data & Process team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.In addition to enterprise BI development, this position will play a critical role in in-systemreporting development within operational platforms such as Procore, TermSheet, and SageIntacct, as well as providing consultation on data pipeline configuration and system design toensure high-quality, scalable downstream analytics.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities: (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)Business Intelligence DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Translate business requirements into reliable, well-modeled analytical datasets and reporting solutions.In-System Reporting DevelopmentDevelop and maintain in-system reports and analytics within operational platforms including Procore, TermSheet, and Sage Intacct.Ensure alignment between source-system reporting and enterprise BI outputs to maintain consistency and trust in data.Data Analysis & Insight GenerationAnalyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making.Partner with stakeholders to interpret results and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.Data Modeling & Pipeline ConsultationCreate and maintain analytical data models that support accurate and performance reporting.Consult on and influence data pipeline configuration and source-system design decisions, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal downstream analytics outcomes.Systems & Architecture ConsultationServe as the analytics lead on enterprise software implementations, driving reporting strategy, defining data standards, validating system configurations, and ensuring all new platforms are implemented with scalable, high-quality analytics and governance in mind.Provide analytics-focused input on software configuration and implementation projects, advocating for data quality, scalability, and long-term reporting usability.Reporting & AutomationDevelop automated dashboards and reports that provide timely, accurate insights to stakeholders across the organization.Training & Adoption EnablementDeliver training and documentation to maximize adoption and effective use of BI tools and reports.Support organizational change by guiding teams toward consistent, data-driven practices.Collaboration & AccountabilityWork closely with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business objectives.Own BI deliverables end-to-end, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, performance standards, and data quality expectations.Optimization & DocumentationContinuously evaluate and improve BI processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, processes, and standards.Knowledge and Qualifications required to perform the essential responsibilities of the position:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated expertise in analytics and data modeling.Demonstrated understanding of multifamily real estate business drivers (e.g., occupancy, rent growth, operating expenses, NOI), or a strong interest with the ability to quickly learn industry-specific metrics and workflows.Proficiency in BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, transformations, and performance optimization.Experience with data modeling best practices (e.g., star or snowflake schemas).Experience developing in-system operational reports and partnering on data pipeline configuration.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to data quality and detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.Demonstrated ability to assess true business needs and support organizational change and adoption.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based BI solutions and modern data platforms.Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform and automation tools.Experience training, mentoring, or enabling business users in analytics tools.Experience maintaining data hygiene and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Experience implementing or supporting data governance frameworks.Experience supporting Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects.Master’s degree in a related field.CompetenciesDemonstrate knowledge of EEO policy.Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences.Values diversity and promotes a harassment-free environment.Treats people with respect and keeps commitments.Inspires the trust of others.Works with integrity and ethically.Upholds organizational values.
