Overview:
Our specialty pharmaceutical distribution client is seeking a Power Platform Developer with strong project leadership capabilities. This role goes beyond development you’ll be responsible for owning automation projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication. You’ll lead the delivery of complete workflow solutions that reduce manual effort, ensure data quality, and improve operational efficiency. A deep understanding of clean, reliable foundational data such as vendor, customer, and product information is essential to support broader business operations.
Top Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Power Automate projects through the full lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate workflows that streamline customer onboarding and other business processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and success criteria.
Serve as a bridge between manual business processes and future SAP integration.
Work within a tight-knit Agile team (5 members), following true Scrum practices (daily standups, iterative delivery).
Maintain governance and operational health of automated flows, proactively addressing failures and implementing improvements.
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively with stakeholders, including Director-level leaders.
Key Skills & Experience:
Must-Haves:
Proven experience leading automation projects from concept to completion.
7+ years of hands-on experience with:
Power Automate (Microsoft Power Platform)
SharePoint (Online & On-Premise)
Microsoft 365 Suite: Excel Online, Outlook, SharePoint Online
Strong understanding of:
Low-code development principles
JSON & SQL (for data formatting, basic querying, etc.)
Experience in workflow automation, especially in data intake and validation.
Ability to independently:
Meet with users and document requirements
Design, build, test, and maintain automation solutions
Manage timelines and deliverables
Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable speaking with senior leadership.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with SAP (not required; workflows will not touch SAP directly).
Familiarity with data governance and master data management.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
