Java Full Stack Engineer

Senior Java Fullstack Developer (Contract)**Hybrid onsite 3x a week**Estimated duration: 6+ months**Final interview is onsite**Local candidates onlyOur Livingston, NJ Fintech client has an immediate need for a Sr Application Developer with 5+ years of fullstack Java experience. This role requires Angular/React, Java, Springboot, Microservices.Overall, you will be responsible for day-to-day task management and sprint planning, working closely with product and stakeholders, participating in design sessions, leading and mentoring engineers to ensure that they follow best practices and guidelines, performing heads-down development, and working with QA to assure top quality deliverables on-time.Requirements:Minimum 4+ years of Java/JEE ProgrammingMinimum 3+ years of practical experience with Spring frameworks and Spring BootMinimum 2+ years of experience with relational databases and DB programming skills (Oracle / PL/SQL)Minimum 3+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and Webservices -- define and drive the requirementsMinimum 2+ years of experience with JPA/Hibernate or Spring RepositoriesExperience working with product management, architects and stakeholdersExperience developing web applications and web services (RESTful)Experience in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks: Angular or ReactJSExperience with agile software management (Rally / JIRA / RTC)Experience in web development (HTML5 + CSS3)Experience with automated testingProven experience integrating AI-assisted development toolsB.S. Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is required
