Project Manager / Scrum Master – AI Programs

Overview In this role you will lead agile delivery and cross-functional coordination for AI initiatives supporting a federal agency. You drive project plans, risk and compliance alignment, and stakeholder engagement across AI, ML, and GenAI programs. You’ll guide teams through complex AI transformations while ensuring security, privacy, and ethical use. This position blends program management with Scrum leadership to deliver high-impact AI outcomes. ResponsibilitiesLead planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects within scope, schedule, and budgetDevelop plans, roadmaps, and metrics aligned with client objectivesCoordinate dependencies across AI platform, model deployment, training, and change managementServe as Scrum Master for one or more teams; facilitate ceremonies and promote agile practicesRemove impediments and foster a collaborative, high-performing teamEngage with client leadership and stakeholders; provide status, risk, and milestone reportingSupport onboarding for new AI capabilities including Agentic AI systemsIdentify and manage risks, ensuring alignment with federal security, privacy, and ethical AI standardsCollaborate with AI architects, engineers, cloud specialists, and training leadsSupport resource planning, onboarding, and team development Key requirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field7 years of experience managing complex technology projects including AI/ML or digital transformationCertified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent agile certificationExperience with GenAI platforms and Agentic AI systemsStrong understanding of agile methodologies and project lifecycle managementExperience working with cross-functional technical teams in cloud, data, and AI domainsstrong communicationleadershipcross-functional collaborationGenAI platformsAgentic AI systemsAI/ML technologies
