Children's Art Therapy215 Gordons Corner RoadManalapan, NJ 07726(201) 565-2442Role Description:Multiple part-time positions for on-site Art Therapists and Associate Therapists in Manalapan, NJ. The Therapists will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions utilizing art therapy techniques with children ranging from 3-21. Daily tasks include creating a supportive and safe environment for clients to express themselves through art, preparing for individual sessions, assessing the mental and emotional health of clients, and working closely with other mental health professionals and school personnel, as well as families to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. The therapists will also be responsible for maintaining accurate client records. Clinical supervision provided for licensing.Qualifications:MASTER'S DEGREE IN ART THERAPY OR RELATED FIELDcomfortable with Art Therapy, Expressive Arts and/or Play Therapy techniquesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with children, adolescents and teens
