Business Systems Analyst
Role OverviewThe Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support critical Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives, with a focus on directory services including Oracle Unified Directory and Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID. This role will partner closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to drive requirements, improve identity processes, and support delivery of enterprise directory and access solutions. You will work with a senior, highly experienced team, requiring strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering and facilitation sessions with business, security, and technical stakeholdersTranslate complex needs into clear, well-structured functional and technical documentationSupport initiatives involving directory services, identity lifecycle management, and access controlsCollaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on Active Directory, Entra ID, and Oracle Unified Directory integrations and enhancementsCreate and maintain process flows, system diagrams, and architecture visuals (highly preferred)Utilize tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and Clarizen to manage requirements, workflows, and delivery trackingPartner with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of IAM initiativesAct as a liaison between senior stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and claritySupport audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements through thorough documentation and traceabilityRequired Qualifications/SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services or a regulated environmentStrong experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and directory servicesHands-on or working knowledge of Oracle Unified Directory and Microsoft Active Directory / Entra IDProven expertise in requirements facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagementExperience using JIRA, ServiceNow, and/or ClarizenSolid project management / project coordination experienceAbility to step into a Project management role if required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging senior-level stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsStrong ability to create system diagrams, data flows, and architecture documentation (e.g., Visio, Figma)Experience with identity lifecycle processes (joiner/mover/leaver), group management, and access provisioningUnderstanding of security and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, FFIEC)Experience working in Agile or Kanban delivery environmentsLocation: Dallas, TXAbout Techstra SolutionsTechstra Solutions is a certified woman-owned (WBENC) management consulting firm specializing in strategy, technology, and implementation services for large organizations undergoing digital and talent transformation.
