Conducts Requirement Consumption Reviews with suppliers to support supplier consumption with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.
Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability.
Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval.
Act as RCR facilitator – leading prep sessions with Engineering, Supplier Management, and Supplier
Schedule on-site RCR event; lead and facilitate
Leads review of supplier quality requirements (“Q Notes”)
Ensures Engineering is prepared to lead review of key technical information to ensure quality and producibility.
Ensures Supplier Management is prepared to lead review of key terms and conditions
Provides education and coaching on QMS Requirements (note: will need to understand which QMS approvals the supplier holds).
Documents RCR results in standard formats with detail. Compiles data and provides recommendations to suppliers to support First Past Quality and NOE prevention.
Collects, verifies, and categorizes the actions coming from the event.
Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development, in coordination with other functions.
Maintains to closure the action item list.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
5+ years of experience with quality management systems.
5+ years of experience with root cause corrective action.
3+ years of experience in Aerospace.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $50.22/hour - $55.02/hour
