The ideal Payroll Supervisor has 5 or more years in Payroll, understands accounting principles, Payroll Software, and delivers accurate and timely Payroll with superb attention to detail and customer service. The Payroll Supervisor position is a full time, direct hire position in Greater Roseville, CA. Payroll Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver Accurate, & Timely Weekly Payroll Processing to Meet Deadlines & Policies Respond to All Payroll Related Questions in a Professional & Timely Manner Review & Reconcile Payroll ViaPre-Payroll Registers & Standard Reports, For Accuracy & Error Free DeliveryEnter Involuntary Deductions Such as Levies & Garnishments Into The Payroll System to Ensure Proper Calculation & Disbursement to Agencies Import All Payroll Items Including Regular Pay, Expense Reimbursements, Commissions, Bonuses, Into The Payroll SystemReconcile Various Types of Income Including TipsComplete Payroll Tax Forms 941 & Annual W2's & Prepare Journal Entries to The General Ledger Conducts Monthly Analysis of Earnings & Deduction Code Usage to Determine Any Variances That May Result in a Payroll Adjustment or Correction Maintain Proper Backup For All Payroll EntriesRespond to Employee Inquiries Regarding Payroll Issues or ConcernsSupport Implementation of New Payroll Software or Enhancements Payroll Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Preferred 5+ Years of Payroll Experience Required Holds a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Highly Desirable Ensure Payroll Information is Maintained ConfidentialHas Direct Experience in Procession Payroll Via Infinium, UKG, or Workday Payroll Systems Preferred Previous Experience & Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, & Outlook Software Must be Able to Work & Prioritize Under PressureMust be Able to Lift up to 50lbs as Needed & Stand, Walk, Type, & Use Hands Throughout Shift Demonstrates Excellent Professionalism & Communication Both Written & Verbal Required Must be Able to Work in a Team Setting & Deliver Excellent Customer ServicePrideStaff Hiring Requirements:Must be 18+ Years OldMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background CheckMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug ScreenMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.Enhance your career with a full-time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
