Remote Construction Estimator

About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you'll prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation, while collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of workPrepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted workSolicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractorsIdentify potential cost risks and value engineering opportunitiesTrack material and labor costs to ensure estimates remain competitive and accurateCollaborate with project managers, architects, and clients throughout the bidding processMaintain and update a database of historical costs and pricing for future referencePrepare and present bid proposals to internal stakeholders and clientsStay current on market pricing trends, building codes, and industry standards
