Job Title: MBA Consultant, Enterprise Analytics & Insights Location: Jericho, NY (On-site/4 days in office, 1 day remote)Compensation: $35-$45 per hourPosition Overview1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc., a leading provider of gourmet food and floral gifts and a family of iconic brands, is seeking a highly motivated MBA candidate or recent graduate to support a 10-week strategic project focused on enterprise analytics and business insights.This role will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver data-driven insights across the organization. The associate will help improve visibility into key metrics, streamline reporting processes, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations that drive business decisions.This position is ideal for a current MBA student looking to gain hands-on consulting or corporate strategy experience while contributing to high-impact analytics initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research and analysis related to business performance and enterprise analyticsAnalyze key KPIs (Revenue, Conversion, AOV, ROAS, etc.) to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesGather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to generate insightsDevelop and refine dashboards and reporting tools to improve business visibilitySupport the transition from manual reporting to automated, self-service analytics solutionsPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical approachesProvide product and merchandising performance insights to support decision-makingIdentify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and reporting efficiencyBuild models and analyses to support data-driven decision-makingCreate presentations, reports, and executive summaries for leadership stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings and recommendationsSupport project planning, milestone tracking, and deliverable executionPresent project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the engagementCurrently pursuing an MBA or other postgraduate business degree preferred; recent graduates encouraged to applyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with business analysis, data analytics, or consulting projectsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointAbility to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendationsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities within a short-term project environmentPreferredPrior experience in consulting, analytics, business intelligence, or corporate strategyExperience with dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization platformsExposure to KPI analysis, performance reporting, or data-driven decision-makingExperience working on academic consulting projects, internships, or strategic initiatives DeliverablesDeliver a comprehensive analysis of business performance across key KPIsDevelop dashboards or reporting enhancements to improve data visibility and accessibilityProvide strategic recommendations to improve reporting efficiency and insight generationDeliver a framework for transitioning to more automated, self-service analytics capabilitiesPresent findings and insights to leadership
