Facilities/ Cleaner

Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented After-Hours Cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within our veterinary clinic. This role is essential to supporting animal health and infection control by ensuring all areas of the clinic are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after daily operations.Key Responsibilities:Clean and disinfect exam rooms, surgical suites, kennels, and treatment areasSanitize high-touch surfaces, including countertops, door handles, and equipmentSweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring throughout the facilityRemove trash, biohazard waste, and dispose of materials according to clinic protocolsClean and restock restrooms and staff areasLaunder and replace bedding, towels, and other reusable materialsRefill supplies such as paper towels, soap, and disinfectantsFollow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control proceduresSecure the building after cleaning (lock doors, turn off lights, set alarms if required)Qualifications:Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicalsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and time management skillsReliability and punctuality are essentialComfortable working around animals and occasional animal-related messesPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50lbsCapable of performing repetitive cleaning tasksSchedule:Evening or overnight hours (after clinic closing)Work Environment:This position involves working in a veterinary clinic where exposure to animals, cleaning chemicals, and biohazard materials may occur. Proper protective equipment and training will be provided.
