This role blends technical accounting, treasury management, audit exposure, and operational accounting responsibilities.The position offers long-term growth potential, including a path to Controller-level responsibilities.Reporting StructureReports to ControllerIndirect exposure to executive leadershipManages 2 accounting team membersKey ResponsibilitiesOversee treasury management activities, including cash flow and banking operationsSupport audit processes and ensure compliance with financial controlsManage accounts receivable and operational accounting functionsOversee job costing and financial accuracy across projectsAssist with month-end close, reconciliations, and reportingSupervise and mentor accounting staffDrive process improvements across accounting workflowsPartner with leadership on financial operations and reporting initiativesQualificationsActive CPA (required)3–5 years of accounting experiencePublic accounting background preferredAudit experience requiredExposure to treasury management and financial operationsStrong Excel skillsExperience with construction-focused ERP systems preferredIndustry experience in construction preferred but not requiredIdeal Candidate ProfileSenior Accountant seeking progression into an Assistant Controller roleExperience in a hands-on, mid-sized or growing organizationAbility to manage both technical and operational accounting responsibilitiesBenefitsPTO, Paid holidays and floating holidaysComprehensive benefits packageBonus eligibility
