Cafeteria Monitor - 2 hours per day

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: • Seats students in the cafeteria. • Monitors student behavior by circulating and interacting with students during meals. • Encourages students to wait in line in an orderly fashion. • Encourages students to focus on eating and not horseplay. • Encourages students to pick up their trash, and use the proper receptacles. • Encourages students to leave the cafeteria in an orderly fashion. • Monitors children with known allergens to ensure there is no cross contamination. • Cleans the tables, chairs, and floors in the cafeteria after completion of lunch. • Performs other related duties as assigned by Cafeteria manager. • Helps stock / set up for next day. • Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities. • Adheres to uniform and personal hygiene requirements. • Follows other instructions, duties or functions assigned by Cafeteria manager.
