Your Role In Our StoryIn essence, your role involves:Work with the Finance and Credit teams to complete the deal processFacilitate timely product delivery to clients and from vendors with a high degree of accuracyEnsure accurate information on every transaction and help create management reportsPartner with clients and vendors regarding their accounts to resolve any account/invoice discrepanciesCoordinate with the internal credit team to ensure client and vendor account balances are in good standing before deliveries are completeInternal contract preparation and external contract review, related to transaction detailsMonitor & follow up with internal and external parties to ensure contract execution and accuracySupport month-end close activitiesOwn quarterly transaction reporting & reconciliationsPartner with auditors for annual audits & reportingContribute as a thought partner in documenting and creating new policies and procedures for the Operations teamWork collaboratively across teams to address evolving needsSupporting with ad hoc projectsThis position requires coming into the New York office at least four times a week.Your ExpertiseTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Business/Administration and Economics, or related studies preferredMinimum 2 – 5 years of working experience in trade operations, accounting, or reportingHighly self-motivated person who thrives in a driven work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quicklyStrong proficiency in ExcelExcellent knowledge and use of English (written and spoken)Excellent administrative skills with eye for detailExcellent problem solving and stress management skills combined with a pro-active attitudeExperience in the oil and/or commodity trading industry is a plusTakes ownership for decisions and is accountable for actions regardless of the outcomeThe base pay range for this position is $75,000-$100,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
