As Leaders of the Pack, we constantly seek smarter, innovative solutions, challenging conventions to drive the change we want to see in the world.What You'll Do The cart attendant ensures that all golf carts and related equipment meet facility standards, meet and greet guests at the cart staging or bag drop-off area, and provide excellent customer service.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesGreet and enthusiastically provide each customer with the court conditions, directions, and any other pertinent informationOpen and/or close the cart barnPrepare and maintain the golf carts for use, including making sure they are clean, fully charged, operational, and prepped for play with tees, scorecards, and pencilsAssist in keeping the golf shop cooler filled with productMaintain cart staging and cart cleaning areasEnsure sand buckets and ice buckets on carts are fullClean and restock rental sets after useMarshall the golf course during busy times as neededAdditional/Overall Skills:Maintain a positive attitude and a strong sense of accountability, fostering a collaborative team environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute.Thrive in a team environment, using your organizational and technical skills to ensure the smooth execution of creative projects that resonate with our audience.Celebrate the successes of your team and bring enthusiasm to your work, reflecting the joyful culture that is at the heart of Audubon's mission.Stay adaptable and open to learning new skills, embracing change and innovation as opportunities to lead and grow.The above listed duties are general statements of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. They do not exclude other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForMust Haves:Must have excellent verbal communication skillsMust have knowledge of the game of golfMust have a valid drivers licenseMust display a professional appearance as outlined in the Audubon HandbookMust be able to work independently and function as a member of the teamMust have a high school diplomaNice-to-Haves:Previous experience working at a golf facilityPrevious experience working in a setting that requires strong customer servicePrevious experience working in a retail settingAbility to play the gamePhysical Requirements:Must be able to frequently stand, walk or sit for long periods of timeMust be able to frequently climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reachMust have close visual acuity in order to operate equipmentMust be able to work outdoors under conditions ranging from extreme hot to extreme coldAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs using proper lifting techniques
