And we're just getting started.Job DutiesSort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils both by hand and by utilizing dish washerSort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before deliveringSet up or break down dishwashing area while following sanitation guidelinesOther responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, equipment cleaning, and garbage removalAssemble/disassemble dish machineCommunicate with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and serviceMaintains the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient mannerClean fryers, braisers and flat top griddles as directed by managementNotify Management any time the dish machine wash or rinse cycles fall below safety standard temperaturesFollow health, safety and sanitation guidelines while working in the kitchen and around food productsAdhere to all Company policies, procedures and practicesAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsA hard worker who thrives in a busy environmentA team player looking to help streamline processes and proceduresA general knowledge of how to safely handle knives, hand tools, utensils and all standard commercial kitchen equipmentAn understanding of chemicals and sanitizing products used in kitchen sanitationGood working knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures and safety and sanitation regulationsAbility to multi-task and work well under pressureAbility to communicate clearly with Management and fellow AssociatesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds several times throughout their shiftAbility to work varied hours/days as dictated by businessOur Core ValuesWe attribute much of our success to our Core Values both as a company and as individuals.
