General Production WorkerThe Anodizer is responsible for performing the anodizing process on metal components, primarily aluminum, to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and appearance. This role involves operating and maintaining anodizing equipment, working with chemicals, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and set up anodizing tanks and equipment, ensuring proper chemical composition and operating conditions.Operate anodizing machinery to apply a protective oxide coating to metal parts using an electrolytic process.Inspect and test metal components before, during, and after anodizing to ensure coating thickness and quality meet standards.Maintain, clean, and monitor anodizing and chemical tanks, including checking temperatures, levels, rinse cycles, and sealing procedures.Work with laboratory or quality personnel to adjust chemical levels and maintain process consistency.Apply masking materials such as tape, plugs, caps, discs, or paper to protect designated areas from powder coating.Remove masking materials after coating without damaging or contaminating the part.Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure coverage accuracy and adherence to quality standards.Follow blueprints, drawings, and process sheets to determine masking requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, safety-compliant workstation and handle parts carefully to avoid scratches or damage.Why Work Here?Join our team for a stable first shift with opportunities for advancement. The shifts are 6:00 AM 2:30 PM, Monday Friday, and 3:00 PM 11:30 PM, Sunday Thursday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blairsville, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
