Cash Application Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Cash Application Specialist to be working on site in our Kent location. In return, you can also expect opportunities for career advancement and continued professional training.Job duties included for the Cash Application Specialist:Overall reconciles daily deposits, apply payments, and resolve discrepanciesAdjustments & creditsCoding & postingReconcile daily remittances to bank/credit card depositsCreate reportsAssist with special projectsMinimum Qualifications needed to be a successful Cash Application Specialist:High school diploma or equivalentExperience with accounting software like SAP, Oracle, GP, or QuickBooksProficient with Microsoft ExcelAbility to professionally handle inquiries from various individuals and have critical thinking skillsPreferred Qualifications needed to be a successful Cash Application Specialist:An associate's degree in accounting or finance preferredTwo+ years of experience in Insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid billings and with applying payments, preferably in mental health billingExperience with electronic billing for all billing types and/or payorsWhile the work we do is personally rewarding on many levels, we also recognize the importance of a competitive benefits package.
