Security Analyst*

Location: RemoteRequired Clearance: Public TrustCertifications: N/ARequired Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, trainings and work experienceRequired Experience: 2+years of relevant experiencePosition DescriptionPingWind is looking for a Security Analyst to provide security compliance and identify risk across a large product line of financial technologies. The Security Analyst will ensure accurate configuration to align with requirements that support increased effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and automated processing for the program.Primary Responsibilities Implementing Authority to Operate (ATO) direction and recommending improvements for continuous ATO process improvements for continuous monitoring, optimization and automation Developing ATO packages and remediating any findings that require resolutions Collaborating with Product Line leadership, DevOps Coach, and product level security resources on best practices to build in security to the products Incorporate security-based user stories into the development backlog Incorporate security posture during intake and new system integration Collaborating with the Product Line technical management team to improve security posture of the overall architecture to ensure early engagement transparency and compliance with the applicable guidelines Remediate critical and high vulnerabilities identified in scans or quality checks or reviews Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts Define/perform vulnerability assessments leveraging threat analysis to scope/prioritize effortsSkills And Experience Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously Ability to work as a team member and independently Ability to research, evaluate, analyze, resolve, and present solutions to problems Attention to detail Proactive in identifying and addressing issuesOther Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
