Technician

We are searching for a dependable Pest Control Technician to help our clients identify and get rid of various pests.Responsibilities include inspecting premises, identifying pest problems, implementing control measures, and advising clients on how to prevent further infestation.Successful candidates must have an eye for detail, a knowledge of various pest control methods, and the ability to interact professionally with clients.ResponsibilitiesInspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestationDetermine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pestsMeasure the dimensions of the area needing treatmentUse baits and set traps to remove or kill pestsApply pesticides in and around buildings and other structuresDesign and carry out pest management plansCreate barriers to prevent pests from entering a buildingUse equipment such as sprayers, dust applicators, or fumigators to control or kill pestsDrive trucks equipped with power spraying equipmentDocument services provided, chemicals used, and advice given to customersUse appropriate safety equipment and protective clothing to prevent exposure to pesticidesQualifications High School Diploma or GED (preferred)Must be 21 years or olderValid driver's license for at least 3 yearsKnowledge of pesticides and their safe applicationStrong verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle physical workload carry up to 50lbsComfortability with working in various conditions, including heat and confined spacesState licensure for pest control may be required Benefits 401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceRetirement PlanPaid time offProfessional development opportunities
