Shipping Department Lead

Job Description Our client is a specialized metals manufacturing company that is growing. They have product lines that are becoming in high demand as more and more customers are using them. As a result of this growth they are looking to hire a Shipping Department LeadHere is what the company offers:· Salary of $24-26/HR· Basic Benefit package· PTOThe job duties are:· Manages daily shipping and receiving operations accurately, in an organized and safe manner, and prepares and receives shipments of out going finished products and parts and incoming materials.· Coordinate shipments with carriers, freight contractors and others· Ensure accuracy of shipments and have all paperwork in orderThe requirements for the position are:· A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED· Forklift operations and experience with loading and securing shipments on trucks.· Familiar with ERP Systems· Ability to help maintain inventory, organized warehouse and storage areas, safe and organized shipping areas.
