As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Shopify storefronts, landing pages, and other digital assets. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional shopping experiences, improve site performance, and support our revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating user-centric digital environments. Reporting to the Senior Shopify Developer, this role offers an excellent opportunity to refine your technical skills, collaborate across teams, and influence the strategic direction of our e-commerce initiatives for our expanding health, wellness, and beauty brands.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and soft skills, including:3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Shopify theme development, with proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.Experience working with Shopify Admin API and GraphQL API.Knowledge of Single Page Application (SPA) principles and familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js is a plus.Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile optimization, and SEO best practices.Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), cross-browser testing, and performance optimization techniques.Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.A portfolio demonstrating previous Shopify storefronts and landing pages.Familiarity with e-commerce health, wellness, or supplement brands is preferred.Experience with third-party apps such as ReCharge, Klaviyo, Yotpo, or Rebuy is advantageous.Certifications or coursework in Shopify development are a plus.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, proactive learning attitude, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and landing pages, ensuring consistency with brand standards and visual appeal.Implement mobile-first design principles, focusing on fast load times and seamless user experiences.Stay current with e-commerce trends, Shopify platform updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve digital storefronts.Refine checkout processes, upsell and cross-sell features, and subscription models to maximize conversion rates and average order values.Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate wireframes and concepts into functional interfaces.Support the integration and maintenance of industry-standard Shopify apps and vendor platforms to enhance site performance and functionality.Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and quality assurance procedures to ensure high standards and bug-free deployment.Conduct regular site audits, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.Utilize analytics tools such as Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics to monitor site performance and user behavior.Develop and execute A/B testing strategies to inform design and functionality enhancements based on data insights.Implement security best practices, including regular updates, backups, and vulnerability assessments, to safeguard digital assets.Ensure compliance with global regulations such as ADA, GDPR, CCPA, and PCI-DSS, emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity.BenefitsJoining GrabJobs offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.
