Accounting Manager, General Ledger (Hybrid)

Accounting Manager, General Ledger (Hybrid) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, General Ledger to lead the close process and oversee general ledger activities across multiple entities. This role will manage a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with GAAP while driving process improvements in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Key ResponsibilitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review of journal entries and account reconciliationsSupervise preparation of financial statements and management reportingManage and develop the GL team, including performance evaluations and goal settingReview and analyze account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesPerform P&L variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadershipEnsure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controlsOversee consolidations and intercompany accounting, including eliminationsReview intercompany transactions, royalties, commissions, and bonus calculationsSupport revenue recognition (ASC 606) and debt compliance schedulesPartner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and TaxDrive process improvements and support audit activities QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required (MBA a plus)5+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience2+ years of leadership experienceCPA preferredExperience in multi-entity and/or multinational environments strongly preferred Skills & ExpertiseStrong knowledge of GAAPAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to lead and develop teamsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) Work EnvironmentHybrid schedule (minimal in-office requirement) BenefitsComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysDisability and life insuranceParental leave and employee assistance programsAdditional voluntary benefits IND4
