Robotics EngineerLocation: Warren, MI / Mountain View, CADuration: FulltimeJob Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:Experience with industrial and collaborative robots (e.g., UR, KUKA, ABB, FANUC)Proficiency in robot programming languages (Python, C++, KRL, RAPID, URScript)Familiarity with camera calibration tools (OpenCV, ROS calibration packages)Understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and motion control systemsExperience with ROS/ROS2 and hardware-software interfacingStrong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in hardware validationRoles & Responsibilities:Install and configure robot arms, end-effectors (grippers), cameras, and other sensorsPerform system calibration including camera calibration, hand-eye calibration, and sensor alignmentConduct inverse kinematics (IK) testing and validation for robotic motion planningIntegrate hardware components with control software and perception systemsTroubleshoot and optimize hardware setups for reliability and performanceCollaborate with AI, simulation, and software teams to support model deployment and testingMaintain documentation of hardware configurations, calibration parameters, and integration workflowsThe engineers will play a critical role in bridging simulation and deployment pipelines for advanced perception systems.
