Job Details
1.As an Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting enterprise systems, networks, and applications from cybersecurity threats. You will monitor security events, assess vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization's security posture while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Job Responsibilities
1.Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents.
2.Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform risk analysis.
3.Implement and maintain enterprise security controls, policies, and best practices.
4.Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents.
5.Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance enterprise security.
6.Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
7.Perform security audits and maintain security documentation.
8.Support continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise security.
9.Troubleshoot security issues and recommend effective remediation strategies.
10.Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Required skills
1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
2.6 years of professional experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity.
3.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and security best practices.
4.Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
5.Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security technologies.
6.Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
7.Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and common networking protocols.
8.Basic scripting knowledge using Python or PowerShell.
9.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
1. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CySA+, or equivalent.
2. Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud security.
3. Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or other security frameworks.
4. Experience working in enterprise cybersecurity environments.
5. Knowledge of security automation and incident response processes.
