WSECU is seeking a motivated and member-focused Mortgage Loan Officer - Internal to join our Residential Lending team! In this role, you’ll partner closely with branch staff and internal teams to serve members’ home financing needs, guiding them through the mortgage process with expertise and care. You’ll manage a strong pipeline of primarily inbound opportunities, deliver timely and compliant loan solutions, and build lasting relationships that reflect WSECU’s Brand Promise. If you thrive in a collaborative, service-driven environment and enjoy turning everyday member interactions into meaningful lending solutions, this is a great opportunity to make an impact!Your Day May IncludeOriginating mortgage loans by promoting and delivering WSECU’s mortgage and home equity products to members and prospective members within assigned branchesBuilding strong relationships with branch staff and partners to supporting member needs and driving internal referralsPricing, structuring, and disclosing loans accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirementsMeeting or exceeding individual production and service goalsDelivering an exceptional member experience by communicating proactively, managing expectations, and ensuring timely, high-quality loan closingsManaging a pipeline of loans, including submitting complete and accurate loan packages and maintaining consistent follow-throughMaintaining NMLS licensing and staying current on products, systems, and mortgage industry trends and competitionParticipating in required meetings, trainings, and Community Homeownership initiativesSupporting branch and team operations by participating in huddles, educating staff, covering queues as needed, and maintaining regular branch presenceContributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhancing processes, tools, and member experienceWhat You Bring To The TeamAt least three (3) years of demonstrated mortgage loan origination experience, including familiarity with FHA/VA requirementsCollege degree in business or closely related field is preferred (related experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement)Bonus Points If You HaveExperience with condos, jumbo loans, and manufactured homesCompetitive pay: $30.47 - $ 45.70 ($34.59 - $51.89 for King County Hires) hourly + commission, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package.The target starting pay for this position is $30.47 - $38.08 ($34.59 - $43.24 for King County hires) hourly, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account.The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position. Where we’re located: 330 Union Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501 (HQ)Where you’ll work: This role operates out of WSECU branches all over WA State. Please check our Branch Locations to find which are closest to you.
