Warehouse Associate

Job Description Position: Repacker or Forklift OperatorDays: Monday - Friday (requires weekend availability)Starting Payrate: 17.00 per hourPOSITION SUMMARY:We are currently interviewing warehouse associates for our Hendersonville, North Carolina location. This individual will be responsible for operating the assembly conveyor belt associated with the line the employee has been assigned to in an efficient manner, operating a forklift with safety as a priority. Employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with close attention to detail through many changes.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Responsibilities include :Remove the boxes with bottles from the pallets and place onto assembly conveyor beltMonitor the flow of boxed bottles on assembly conveyor belt and place bottles to assigned boxesSeal pallet of boxed bottles with wrapping materialReports to the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Lead for tasks and assignmentsMaintain a clean work environmentAvailable to work some weekends and overtime when assigned and approved by managementAwareness and adherence to all safety requirementsOperate forklift to load and unload trucks as well as placing product onto high-bay racks.Perform other related duties as required and assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMinimum Required QualificationsThree months manufacturing experienceSix months of forklift experience (within the last year)Additional Preferred QualificationsExperience in the food/beverage industryPrevious experience in Manufacturing or production environmentExcellent time management skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONSThis position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurance
