Logistics Admin
This is a direct hire position, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, with some possible OT when necessary. Hourly pay based on experience. Send resume to jamesf@aidtemps.comJob PurposeThe Logistics Admin will work closely with each team within the facility to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at good cost. Furthermore, the Logistics Admin will have direct communication with our customers and with our Sales.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Logistics Admin will be responsible for coordinating the movement of finished goods from our facility directly to our customers, both internally and externally. Primary duties include but are not limited to:Scheduling work for Shipping Organizing outbound shipments with Warehouse Coordinating with vendors the transportation of finished goodsTracking movement of finished goods with vendorsCommunicating directly with customers to establish their needsQualificationsQualifications include:Education and/or Previous ExperienceExtensive Industry KnowledgeStrong Numerical and Analytical SkillsKeen Attention to DetailSelf-MotivatedAdaptabilityTeam PlayerWorking conditionsThe Logistics Admin's position primarily works within an office setting for much of the workday. It may also be necessary to work in the warehouse and on the shipping floor, which are ideally subject to the outdoor climate.Physical RequirementsThe Logistics Admin is required to sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects periodically, do repetitive tasks with few breaks, and so forth.Food Safety RequirementsResponsible for reporting any food safety or quality issues to direct supervisor.
