It is also eligible for sick and personal days.QUALIFICATIONS: The following qualifications are considered to be the minimum acceptable skills and qualifications necessary to be considered for this position.Applicants must have (2) years experience or the equivalent skills and experience from a similar position.Applicants must have knowledge & experience in cleaning uni-vents, filter replacement and belt changes.Applicants not meeting the above qualifications will not be considered for this position.This position requires the employee to driver corporation vehicles. In accordance with Board policy and individual must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and have held a drivers license for at least three (3) years.RESPONSIBILITES:Reports the need for tools, equipment, and supplies needed to be able to perform job in a timely manner.Works with Building Plant Operators in planning and implementations of preventive maintenance tasks.Works well with others in performing General Maintenance duties and complies with safety regulations regarding equipment.Complies with safety regulations concerning the mixing, storage and handling of chemical supplies and equipment.Maintains in depth knowledge of fire and security alarm systems.Uses proper procedures in reporting building maintenance problems.Cleans up after one self after performing a maintenance task.Changes light bulbs, ballast, door closers, switches, outlets and other maintenance to include plumbing and roofing repairs.Conducts regular inspections of, and performs preventive maintenance and general maintenance on the physical plant, including heating, ventilating, air conditioning to keep them operating in a safe, efficient and economical manner.Sets up equipment, tables and chairs for games and school events; changes marquee; unloads trucks; attends monthly plant operator meetings and other meetings as required.Maintains, cleans, and ensures safety of buildings and premises, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and grassy areas; removes snow and salts/sands icy areas when needed.Inspects fire extinguishers, playground equipment, and emergency lighting.A valid drivers license may be required when using a corporation vehicle.Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or other designee.PHYSICAL DEMAND: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
