Toolmaker (2nd Shift)As a Toolmaker, you'll play a critical role in shaping precision tooling that supports our manufacturing operations. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, problem-solving, and attention to detail to ensure the quality and reliability of our dies and molds.You'll be part of a skilled and collaborative tooling team that supports production by designing, building, and maintaining high-performance dies and molds. The team works closely with engineering and operations to drive continuous improvement and innovation in tooling processes.Interpret blueprints and plan machining sequences to create complex dies and moldsOperate CNC and manual machines to shape and finish tooling componentsAssemble and verify die/mold dimensions to ensure precision and functionalityRecommend design improvements based on analysis of existing tools and fixturesMaintain accurate records of tool maintenance and modificationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support production needs and tooling enhancementsCompletion of a two-year vocational, trade, or technical degree25 years of experience in tool and die making or equivalent trainingProficient in reading blueprints and technical documentsSkilled in geometry, trigonometry, and practical math applicationsKnowledge of heat treating steels and machining processesExperience with CNC programming and advanced machining techniquesFamiliarity with mold design software or CAD toolsStrong problem-solving skills in non-standardized environmentsAbility to recommend and implement tooling improvementsPrevious experience in a high-volume manufacturing environmentFor this role, we anticipate paying $20-$39 per hourMonday - Thursday 2PM - 12
