Kirby Bates Associates—one of the nation’s premier healthcare executive search firms—is partnering with a California-based health system to identify an experienced Interim Director of Surgical Services for a high-impact leadership opportunity.This is ahands-on, visible leadership rolefor a proven perioperative leader who can quickly assess and optimize operations across a dynamic surgical platform.The Interim Director will provideend-to-end leadership across Surgical Services , including: Operating Room (OR) PACU Same-Day Surgery (SSU) Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Endoscopy Interventional RadiologyThis leader will play a critical role indriving performance, strengthening team engagement, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered careacross all procedural areas.Requirements: BSN required Active California RN license required(non-compact state) Progressive leadership experience in Surgical Services Experience working in a unionized environmentThis opportunity offers an attractive compensation package, including housing, transportation, and regular travel home.The pay rate for this position is $900 per day ($234,000 annually).Kirby Bates Associates is an EEO/AA employer.
