Consulting Director Energy & Utility

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Energy & Utility Consulting Director to lead high-impact projects and client engagements in the utility and energy sector. This senior-level role combines strategic leadership, client relationship management, and team development. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in one or more of the following service areas:Transmission PlanningGrid Modernization & Distribution PlanningResource Planning & Market AssessmentUtility Financial Analysis & Rate DesignCapital Investment & Asset PlanningRenewable Energy IntegrationEnergy Asset Advisory ServicesZero-Emissions Transportation StrategiesYou'll drive the success of consulting engagements from pursuit through execution while leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and delivering exceptional results.What You'll DoLead & Execute ProjectsManage all aspects of consulting engagements including strategy, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholder communication.Engage with ClientsServe as a trusted advisor to utility clients, understanding their needs and delivering impactful solutions that align with business and regulatory goals.Strategic FacilitationConduct workshops and meetings with senior-level clients to define priorities, build consensus, and develop actionable plans.Drive InnovationAnticipate challenges and deliver creative, data-driven, and results-oriented solutions.Manage Project TeamsBuild, mentor, and manage multi-disciplinary consulting teams. Provide performance feedback, training support, and resource planning.Deliver Financial & Contract OversightOversee contracts, vendor/subcontractor agreements, scope of work, and budgets.
