You will work closely with our Machine Learning team to deploy and scale AI models, including Generative AI and LLMs, ensuring seamless integration and performance. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technological foundation of our products and have a significant impact on the company's success.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support AI-driven applications.Build and optimize data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models.Implement and manage runtime serving infrastructure for real-time AI model inference.Collaborate with the Machine Learning team to integrate models into production environments.Develop robust API architectures for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.Leverage cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to deploy and manage infrastructure.Ensure system reliability, security, and performance through best practices and proactive monitoring.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and other relevant programming languages.Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the development process.Work closely with customers and the founding team to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.Qualifications:Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering or related fields.Proven experience in building and deploying large-scale infrastructure, web services, or mobile systems.Experience with data pipeline development and management.Familiarity with runtime serving systems for AI/ML models.Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with other languages like JavaScript, C#, or Java is a plus.Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-driven applications.Expertise in API design and development, including RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.Proficiency with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of database systems, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Passion for innovation and staying current with industry trends.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational agents.Knowledge of data engineering best practices and ETL pipeline development.Experience in startup or high-growth company environments.Contributions to open-source projects or published research in AI or related fields.Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.What We Offer:Equity Opportunity: Significant equity stake reflecting your foundational role in the company.Flexible Work Environment: Flexible working hours and remote work options.Innovative Impact: A chance to be at the forefront of AI innovation and make a tangible impact on the B2B industry.Professional Growth: Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.Collaborative Culture: An innovative and collaborative work culture that values your ideas and contributions.Note: Initially, this is primarily an equity-only position until a priced funding round.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
