We are expanding our mental health program and seeking a compassionate, mission-driven clinician to help lead this next phase of growth. *Position Summary* The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide trauma-informed, culturally competent counseling services to veterans, first responders, and their family members. This role will serve as a foundational clinical position within Excultas growing behavioral health program and will work closely with leadership and community partners. This is an opportunity for a clinician who wants to do meaningful work, help shape a developing program, and be part of a collaborative, community-centered organization. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide individual, family, and group therapy to veterans, first responders, and family members * Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documentation * Deliver trauma-informed and culturally responsive care * Participate in peer-support and community-based programming * Collaborate with Exculta staff, community health workers, and referral partners * Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards * Support program development and quality improvement efforts * Participate in trainings, outreach events, and community engagement as appropriate *Qualifications* * Active, unrestricted Missouri licensure as an: * *LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist* * Experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, or crisis-related issues * Strong understanding of military and/or first responder culture (preferred) * Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally competent practice * Ability to work independently and collaboratively * Strong communication and organizational skills * Passion for nonprofit and community-based mental health work*Preferred Experience* * Experience working with veterans, first responders, or high-stress professions * Group facilitation experience * Experience in community mental health or nonprofit settings * Bilingual abilities (a plus, not required) *Compensation & Benefits* * Competitive contract compensation * Flexible scheduling * Opportunity for caseload growth * Professional development opportunities * Supportive, mission-driven work environment * Opportunity to grow into leadership as the program expands *Why Join Exculta?* At Exculta, you are not just filling a caseload you are helping build something lasting.
