The Opportunity: Program Coordinator at Ray of Light Recovery Café Haverhill The Program Coordinator for the Haverhill Peer Recovery Center/Ray of Light Recovery Cafe Haverhill will develop and oversee the School for Recovery, coordinate ROLRC events, and oversee the Cafe meal services. The successful candidate will be a person with “lived experience” who thrives in an environment that supports innovation, creativity, and the vision to continuously grow with the ever-changing needs of the members. Job Details: Reports to: Program Director of Ray of Light Recovery Café The Program Coordinator is a 40 hour a week position with excellent benefits and pay. Job Responsibilities: ● Oversees all programming including School for Recovery curriculum in response to member interest and needs and provide members with a monthly calendar and updates as needed. ▪ Ensure all programming is accessible and welcoming to all stages of recovery, organized, impactful, and reflective of community needs and aligned with dignity-centered support and relationship-based engagement. ▪ Monitor implementation of RC Model within programming and events. ▪ Work alongside PRSC Community Engagement Coordinator to maintain a visible, engaging weekly/monthly calendar and promotion of PRSC activities, events and programming through flyers, calendars, social media content, PRSC website and in-house announcements in the PRSC space and shared outside the space to members and the community. ▪ Serve as main contact for PRSC visitors, volunteers and community providers. ▪ Orient and onboard volunteers to the RC Model and PRSC space, schedule for daily activities and/or special events, provide one on one supervision (as needed) and facilitate volunteer recovery circles. ▪ Support planning and execution of community events (e.g., anniversaries, recovery celebrations, collaborative events, etc.). ▪ Facilitate positive relations and interactions between PRSC members, staff and other programs within the Riverbend organization as well as the community. ▪ Oversee the use of technology for program operations including community presentations, hybrid events and programming and social media. ▪ Assist Program Director in facilitating weekly staff meetings and one on one supervision with PRSC staff. ▪ Support program growth and development as necessary. ▪ Welcome all who come into the space by embracing and promoting radical hospitality in the context of loving accountability. ▪ Ensure the PRSC remains clean and beautiful. ▪ Facilitate community meetings, recovery circles and peer support groups. ▪ Share responsibility for overseeing ROLRC front desk operations. ▪ Work with the PRSC team to aid in daily cafe operations (i.e. inventory, latte hour, cookouts). ▪ Share responsibility of utilizing Virtual Gateway system and AGENCY (Recovery Café database to track member activity). ▪ Complete all required documentation promptly. ▪ Follow all opening/closing procedures. ▪ Participate in a weekly staff meeting and individual supervision with Program Director. ▪ Adhere to the guiding principles of the Recovery Café Model and the BSAS standards of care. ▪ Participate in training as required. REQUIREMENTS ▪ Valid driver’s license ▪ Has personal, lived experience ▪ High school diploma or equivalent ▪ A desire to learn and grow within the organization ▪ Communicate clearly and timely ▪ Demonstrate cultural competency ▪ Strong organizational and multitasking skills ▪ Demonstrate the ability to actively listen and respond to questions and concerns of PRSC members, staff, etc. ▪ Able to self-direct, solve problems and manage one’s time independently ▪ Is willing to or has completed the Recovery Coach Academy and/or is working towards Recovery Coach certification ▪ Possess a thorough understanding of the Recovery Coach/Peer model and can apply this knowledge in different settings ▪ Understand and support multiple pathways of recovery ▪ Possess the ability to work positively with coworkers and PRSC members ▪ Possess proficient computer skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
