Role Description This is a full-time on-site Safety Coordinator role based in McAllen, TX. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Daily tasks include conducting safety audits, delivering training sessions, performing accident investigations, and advising on occupational health procedures. The Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in fostering a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and standards, especially in the context of transmission power line construction.Expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices and Occupational Health protocols.Proficient in conducting Safety Training programs for employees at various levels.Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Relevant certifications in Health & Safety (e.g., OSHA certification) or EHS fields are highly preferred.Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.Previous experience in the power line construction or utilities sector is preferred.
