Registered Behavior Technician

Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence Support educational goals through teaching functional communication, social skills, and behavioral management strategies Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop and modify behavior support strategies tailored to each client’s needs Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive behavior change and emotional well-being Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education principles is highly desirable Strong data collection skills and attention to detail are essential for tracking client progress effectively Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and confidentiality protocols such as HIPAA enhances your ability to succeed in this role Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families This position is ideal for individuals passionate about behavioral health, teaching, or patient care who are eager to grow professionally while making a positive impact.
