Joining the team means being part of a dedicated group of professionals invested in driving industry success.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Houston for a Heavy Construction Estimator. The Heavy Construction Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates, execute quantity take-offs, review plans and specifications, and identify project requirements. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure effective cost management, accurate budget development, and on-time proposal delivery. The estimator will also communicate with other stakeholders, such as vendors and contractors, to gather accurate pricing and scope information.QualificationsSeven (7) years or more of heavy construction civil estimation experience, with two (2) years of direct experience in heavy highway, paving, and concrete.Proficiency in Construction Estimating and performing accurate Quantity Take-offsStrong expertise in Cost Management and Budgeting for heavy construction projectsExcellent Communication skills for collaborating with project stakeholders and vendorsAttention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in construction-related software and toolsPrior experience in heavy construction estimating is preferredBachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is advantageous
