This role plays a key role in maintaining manufacturing equipment and maximizing operational efficiency across all areas of the production plant. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and experienced in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive equipment maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic units and pneumatic systems, and electric motors.In addition to strong technical expertise, we are looking for someone who demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and LocationCompensation: The salary range is $ 22.00 to $24.00 per hour + Generous BonusBenefits: Generous paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and short-term disability insurance is covered at 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and long-term disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salarySchedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with flexibility (may be required to work overtime as necessary to meet operational needs)Location: This is an in-person position at the facility in Pompano Beach, FL.Responsibilities:Identify and address issues to prevent industrial manufacturing equipment downtimePerform preventive maintenance on light and heavy industrial manufacturing equipmentTroubleshoot and repair production manufacturing machinery with minimal supervisionMaintain clean work areas and use tools and equipment according to safety requirements and wear required PPE at all timesRead and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and industrial manufacturing mechanical drawingsSupport the team with real-time production and communicate effectively with vendors, leaders, team members, and other employeesAssist in coordinating subcontractor activities as neededMaintain inventory of spare parts and suppliesManage work orders in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS - Limble), logging labor, parts, and maintenance performedPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience is required3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment is requiredStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics units, pneumatics equipment, and plc controls is requiredExperience in preventive maintenance and manufacturing equipment repair is requiredAbility to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and OEM manualsProficient computer skills and the ability to enter and track data in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Strong communication and problem-solving skills and great attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamRequired to read and write English and follow verbal instructionsExotech is a fast-paced and energetic environment, where no day is like the past.
