Senior Project ManagerSummit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to support our client in the Greater Richmond Region in the local government sector. This position has the exciting opportunity to lead multiple technology projects across various business lines, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs in a matrixed environment.The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required3+ years of experience identifying business needs, driving solutions, and delivering value through structured project executionExperience working within a PMO environmentStrong communication and customer service skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectivelyDesired:Experience using Microsoft tools for analysis, planning, and estimationAbility to adapt to evolving environments and organizational changeResponsibilities:Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through completionPartner with business and technical teams to align project goals, priorities, and outcomesFacilitate communication across stakeholders and provide clear updates on project progressIdentify and address risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on trackSupport vendor coordination and maintain strong working relationships with external partnersMonitor project performance, timelines, and resource allocationMaintain project documentation and ensure adherence to established processes and standardsDrive continuous improvement in project delivery and team collaborationThe hourly pay range for this position is $55 $65, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
