Remote Technical Write

Role Description This part-time remote Technical Writer role focuses on creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that supports HS Design Studio’s architectural and design projects. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and maintaining technical documents, manuals, and guides for internal teams and clients, translating complex design concepts into accessible language. The Technical Writer will collaborate with architects and designers to gather information, standardize documentation formats, and ensure consistency across all written materials. The role also involves editing and updating existing content to reflect project changes and best practices, while adhering to brand and quality standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Technical Communication and Technical Writing to translate complex design concepts into clear, concise content.Candidates should possess skills in Technical Documentation and general Documentation to organize, structure, and maintain project-related materials.Candidates should possess experience creating and updating Manuals and user guides for internal stakeholders and clients.Excellent written English, attention to detail, and strong editing and proofreading abilities.Comfort working remotely, managing part-time hours, and collaborating via digital tools.Experience or interest in architecture, engineering, or design-related fields is beneficial.Relevant education or training in technical writing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
