Document Control Supervisor

Position Summary We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Document Control Supervisor to lead our document control processes and support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll oversee document control activities, supervise the Document Control Specialist, and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of critical company documentation. You'll play a key role in maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO, ITAR, UL, and other applicable standards, while supporting engineering, production, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Supervise and provide guidance to the Document Control Specialist. Process and manage all incoming document control requests. Coordinate and implement engineering change orders (ECOs/ECNs). Maintain and update the MRP system with accurate information. Perform data entry across multiple business systems. Control, distribute, archive, and retrieve controlled documents. Establish and maintain organized filing systems for electronic and physical records. Support manufacturing and engineering teams with documentation needs. Ensure document control processes comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support operational goals. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, engineering changes, and related manufacturing documentation. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work independently while managing competing deadlines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience creating and maintaining organized filing and document management systems. High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential and controlled documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative attitude and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments. Why Join Our Team?
